Senior Certification Engineer

About the role:
As our Senior Certification Engineer, you'll lead and manage the entire certification process for new products, ensuring we meet all regulatory requirements required for global market access. You will also follow up and maintain certifications on existing products. It is also an opportunity to create and establish internal procedures and work processes for certification within the company.
Your responsibilities may include:
Lead certification processes for new product developments and maintain existing product certifications.
Serve as the main interface with external partners, including EMS partners and certification agencies, primarily based in Asia.
Manage certification RFQs and timelines to ensure products meet regulatory requirements on schedule.
Develop and document processes and workflows related to certification.
Review product designs and define certification requirements for new products, staying ahead of new regulations.
Review and approve test reports and certificates from our partners.
We are looking for the following experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or related technical field with minimum 2 years of product certification experience.
Ability to read and understand schematic designs and PCB layouts.
Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).
Experience with certification, preferably consumer electronics for the global market.
Previous work with Asian partners or suppliers is considered a plus.
Practical information:
We will consider applications on a rolling basis.
Language requirements: Our company language is English, Norwegian will be a plus.
Location: Oslo, Norway.
Visa requirements: Citizenship/valid work permit from the EU/EEA.
