Become our Embedded Engineering Manager and be central to the team developing and maintaining low-level software for reMarkable's current and future products from hardware to cloud. You'll be instrumental in expanding our team and its expertise, with opportunities for hands-on technical involvement.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Talent Empowerment: Drive team performance, retention, and recruitment, aligning individual and company needs.
- Technical Engagement & Involvement: Engage and contribute in the team's technical work to define and maintain quality-focused embedded software solutions and processes.
- Team Staffing & Development: Assign people to cross-functional teams, ensuring their well-being, growth, and company fit.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with other Leads to create an optimal environment for problem-solving in a fast-paced setting.
- Technical Vision & Strategy: Collaborate with Principal Engineers on strategic technical roadmaps and best practices.
- Embedded Domain Representation: Represent embedded software in company-wide forums and projects when needed.
We are looking for the following experience:
- Experience with embedded software development as a software engineer or similar.
- Ability to identify cross-functional needs and able to staff the right resources at the right place.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring embedded engineers, fostering professional growth, inclusion, and positive team engagement.
- Experience as a hiring manager, comfortable with recruitment and passionate about attracting top-tier embedded talent developing the team further.

Practical information:
